ApaTech establishes direct sales force in Germany, expands UK sales team

ApaTech, a global leader in synthetic bone graft technologies, today announces the establishment of ApaTech GmbH and the formation of a direct sales force to sell Actifuse, its next generation bone graft product, in Germany

ApaTech sales representatives will initially be located in Western, Southern and Eastern Germany to support the top 20 spine and orthopaedic centres in Germany, prior to a further national roll out.  ApaTech GmbH is headquartered in Berlin.

ApaTech’s German operation will be managed by Dr Joerg Maassen, who joined the company in November 2005 as International Sales Manager, having previously worked with Smith and Nephew and Biomet in a range of senior sales and marketing roles.

In a parallel development ApaTech has expanded its direct UK sales team, doubling the number of UK sales territories.
